1. Certifications:

Two employees with Professional Machine Learning Engineer certifications

PLUS

Two employees with Professional Data Engineer certifications OR Professional Cloud Developer certifications

2a. Technical Expert Badges:

All certified professionals must also have achieved the Build with Vertex AI Technical Expert Badge & Intelligent Search Technical Expert Badges. . or:
2b. Skill Badges:
Certified learners must complete all four Gen AI skill badges. The 3 badges on this path and the L400 badge.

PLEASE NOTE: Completing the first two badges unlocks the L400 badge Until September 30, 2025, we will accept the gen AI skill badges outlined in 2b in the application. From October 1, 2025, we will only accept Build with Vertex AI Technical Expert Badge & Intelligent Search Technical Expert Badges. These new Technical Expert badges will ensure that partners are credentialed on the latest gen AI technology

3. Google Cloud Responsible AI training:

The same four current, full-time employees must complete Google Cloud Responsible AI training
