This learning path will teach you the basics of mainframe modernization on Google Cloud. You will learn about the benefits of mainframe modernization, the tools and services available on Google Cloud, and the steps involved in migrating mainframe applications to Google Cloud.

The courses in this learning path will help you prepare by providing an overview of concepts central to Google Cloud Computing. Topics include Cloud Computing Fundamentals, Infrastructure, Networking, and Security in Google Cloud. We recommend mainframe experiencs as well as experience with Opentext's MIcro Focus ES before taking this course.

By the end of the series of courses, you will be able to articulate these concepts and demonstrate some hands-on skills.The Technical Onboarding Checklist quest comprises a series of Challenge and Learning labs to validate your proficiency in setting up a Google Cloud organization for mainframe modernization.
