the service account still could not write to the bucket since the cloud API access scopes for "Storage" is read only by default.

Could not complete Task 7, for some reason no matter what permissions I assigned the read-objects service account, I could not copy sample2.txt to the cloud storage bucked. I verified serveral times that the VM was using the correct service user & check in the ssh console what "user " it was authenticating with & it was the correct read-objects user. Not a brilliant experience.
