A diagram of the network would help to visualize the data flow and concepts. Overall a good intro, but further study of the CLI will be required to understand functionality of the gcloud concepts

I'm not too familiar with network rules myself but this was helpful to get an idea of how to setup firewall rules for ingress/egress
