Buying credits should pop up a new tab (otherwise you have to redo the catchpa). Also, the credits didn't apply until I refreshed the entire Google Skills page after buying credits.

Good for hands-on, but maybe a quick recap/synopsis of what all of this means (I know it was covered in the Jellyfish training, but a quick review might be a good addition)
