I found the pinging from 'on-prem-instance1' to 'vpc-demo-instance1' is succesfully connected  ( I meant, the `ping -c 4 10.1.1.2`  is succeeded from on-prem-instance1 VM after finished Task 5. ) even when I skipped creating firewall at "Task 6. Verify router configurations  > Configure firewall rules to allow traffic from the remote VPC" . It seems that setting up HA VPN tunnels will automatically make any icmp connection allow configs, between connected VPCs? Let me know if my understanding is correct or not if possible... to shingo.toma@rakuten.com ( or my private zhenwu35@gmail.com ) . Thanks.
