As others have mentioned, the code in the lab is a bit outdated and produces a few errors (none that are blocking, but the .plot_model() does not work, and that would help visualize the preprocessing pipeline and the model). Overall, I would say it is a good solid lab, but the preprocessing/encoding process and the stateful layers could be explained a bit more intuitively.
