But while deleting VM instance a step is missing in the lab. There is an option to delete the vm instance should be unchecked while creating a VM it should be included otherwise one cannot delete VM to check load balancer

Very cool lab. I wish it would also show the equivalent way to do the same in GCP Console. Also, the "Configure external network load balancing" step was unable to see that I completed the task.
