There's a bug in the backup script which makes it throw errors: - when backup.sh is run as the normal user, it can't interact with the 'screen' session which is running the Minecraft server, in order to properly disable autosaving. This is because the 'screen' session was started using 'sudo' (which is necessary, as the Minecraft server software needs to be started with 'sudo') - when backup.sh is run as the root user, it fails to pass the $YOUR_BUCKET_NAME variable, so it can't find the Cloud Storage bucket. I worked around this by explicitly naming the Cloud Storage bucket in the backup script.
