Instead of running an ancient useless wordcount workload I'd rather build a real cloud function trigger which runs some useful workload. You keep mixing up orchestrating infra workloads (I keep wasting time with starting & stopping clusters) with data operations - where actually data is processed, fails processing, is transformed etc.
