The startup script did not reinstall the cron job, but rather installed another cron job. Making an extra backup job for every startup of the VM.

I already did this lab, but it did not update my score. In any case, you should add to the VM disk mounting section changing to different disks to view the available disk space, this would help someone who has never mounted a disk before. e.g. # see how much disk space there is on the boot disk google3441384_student@mc-server:~$ df -h . re-adding the cron job on each boot is unnecessary since the boot disk is persistent and the crontabs are stored in /var/spool/cron.
