the lab itself seemed fine, but i was unable to SSH into my VM... even after creating multiple instances to host the db. oh well... on to the next one.

I do not know the reason, but even if I entered the root password I set in Cloud Sql, the mysql prompt did not appear and I could not continue. It was a waste of time to pay the money. It's the worst.
