Tasks 1-7 are fine. But I had problem with Task 8 - Cross-project sharing. I created the cross-project-sharing service account in Project2, and used the downloaded credentials.json in the VM to activate this service account. However, I couldn't see Project 2 in "gcloud init" command. I had to create another service account in project 2, and re-import that credentials.json file into the VM to get it to work. I don't know why the service account creation didn't work the first time.
