There are tons of information missing regarding how to navigate in vim. examples like what to do after enterin vim in order to correctly paste the code, fix issues etc would be greatly appreciated. "Make sure to be in this and this mode by clicking ESC, then enter ":set paste" click enter, paste the code, enter ":set nopaste", review the code and make sure that everything was pasted correctly. press "i" if you need to manually edit the code (the first import statement was always missing an "i" for me). if the formatting is wrong, click ESC+gg+dG to delete all content of the file, and try again. to save the file, write :wq and click enter
