I didn't know how to exit the vim editor and had to look it up online. It would be nice you added the ":wq" command in the instructions for editing the python file.

Step 4 took a long time to register, about 20 minutes after I completed it, but it finally did. In fact, I even started to run the job and removed the logging entry, but I go the check mark before it finished, so you might have to wait a while to get full credit.
