HAHA! This was a fun one. Just one tip: Warn the person doing the task that if they don't save the their old encryption key and overwrite it with a new one they're not going to access their old file :/ Great lesson.

gsutil seems to require that a customer managed key is stored in KMS. I was not able to move past step 2
