Is there some kind of restriction where Google detects that a request to a service using credentials for a service account is really coming from a VM with assigned with that service account? I find it strange that the service account has to be specified in the application

The lab worked fine, but I'm not allowed to mark it as completed. The cli crashed the second time I tried rendering the lab pointless and uncompleted.
