There was error getting Credentials from meta directory 404. Then I just used default client creation without adding Credentials and it returned results. But then lab said I didn't complete and only registered 5/10. Second time through it was able to query metadir for credentials but I still had to install pyarrow and google-cloud-bigquery-storage. Otherwise I really liked the lab.

In addition to the constant unusability of Cloud Shell and web-based SSH, this time there was a minuteslong wait while "sudo pip3 install --upgrade google-cloud-bigquery" ran. Plus I had to "pip3 install" two DIFFERENT Python packages that prevented query.py from running. And finally, I had it all running correctly, but the verification did not work and told me that I had not completed the lab, but I did. This is getting to be a very unfunny joke.
