I think stopping the instances to clear out the external ip would've been a good thing to do in the lab. Also explaining what stopping an instance can do in general to the network

mynetwork being set up with 33 subnets made it difficult to check that the address ranges didn't overlap with privatenet, and the instructions for doing this validation were unclear (e.g. 10.128.0.0/9 did not appear anywhere in the mynetwork IP range listing)
