had to install ping "sudo apt-get install iputils-ping" same thing happened last lab. ping didn't work on the internal ip despite having things setup right

I think stopping the instances to clear out the external ip would've been a good thing to do in the lab. Also explaining what stopping an instance can do in general to the network
