Error in downlaoding the istio ingress gateway, no sidecars are injected and can't see anything in service mesh page. Total disaster with this tutorial!

Somehow it seems the Quicklabs for Anthos services are outdated and need revisions for version and recent changes. I could see that while I could create frontend GKE pods using the startup scripts, I kept seeing the Error-0/2 nodes are available: 2 Insufficient cpu. preemption: 0/2 nodes are available: 2 No preemption victims found for incoming pod.

Some application services could not deploy due to lacking cluster resources - this required manually scaling out the cluster and resulted in delays >10min in continuing the lab.
