I encountered the following error when creating pubsub deployement instead of Permission Error or Running like the tutorial said. Test script inside gcr.io/google-samples/pubsub-sample:v1 is broken with python 3.10, more old images works fine.

The git repo has environment problem, and never got fixed.

Very good lab. However, there is a huge issue: pubsub-sample/v1 produces a python error: "Getting AttributeError: module 'collections' has no attribute 'MutableMapping'", which is not related to the authorization. To make it work I had to change the images to take a previous snapshot: image: gcr.io/google-samples/pubsub-sample@sha256:fa5741a08ad4974184322a1541b8082547ff4d2e7c31a0465c6c2c331b5e75f5
