Terraform apply failed because the config resources also needed the "project" property. The lab instructions need to be updated.

Overcomplicated procedure where you just want the trainee to know where the docs are and to read them. In the "Configure the VM instance" part the copy templates under point 10 and 11 contain incorrect code. E.g. it uses ${var.instance_name} which is a shell notation but not valid HCL syntax. The lab could be prepended by a video course where you place the links to the terraform documentation to let the trainee look them up. The lab itself could be made shorter and should only cost 3 points at max.
