Slightly tricky/slow UI to use: dropdowns not being populated properly, add metric button did not have any effect, and if you click outside the dropdown after picking resource type but no metric, there doesn't seem to be any way to add a metric without exiting the dialogue and starting again. But the lab does comprehensively cover the parts of Stackdriver Monitoring.
