Actually waited for 5 minutes to see if the uptime check was functioning but no check result appeared. A bit disappointing for lab participants who wanted to actually test generating an alert (e.g. by shutting down a VM instance). Not sure if it was due to lab environment limitation or Stackdriver did not start uptime check right away. Maybe it is better to add some descriptions to tell participants why Stackdriver does not perform uptime check right after policy is created, or any instructions to see uptime check results.

Resources and metrics took a long time to load and then timed out so that would be a good thing to add. The labels and flow to create a new alert seems to have changed.
