Starting up Stackdriver it always comes up with an error message - leaving me wondering whether I should contact support or if anything is wrong.

The lab didn't take very long to go through the steps. I spent some additional time playing around. Some actual examples of useful alerting policies would be nice. The Uptime monitoring takes a long time to start working and the latency charts seem to be very inconsistent; even within the US.
