The steps needed to be changed for the security. The ssh does not work with the default settings. I had to make a change on the creation steps to allow the ssh steps to work.

ssh login between VM fails publickey authentication. No SSH keys was available on my-vm-2 (.ssh directory contained only known_hosts).
