I tried using vim instead of nano for the text editing, but I was unable to figure out how to send an ESC sequence to get out of editing mode. I ended up having to force close the window. When I launched another terminal window to pick up where I left off, I got public key rejections when trying to SSH to my-vm-1.

Following the instructions I can connect to my-vm-1 via SSH when I'm into the my-vm-2 SSH terminal

Even though I followed the instructions carefully, I had trouble connecting my two VMs. While pinging the first from the second worked, when I tried to SSH in, I get a Permission denied (publickey) error.
