It wants us-east1-d, but that zone is out of capacity for that instance type. The progress checker will (I think) be strict about the zone, so I can't get credit for the lab. And I've spent five credits to start a lab where a production capacity issue won't allow me to finish it. Ultimately, I was able to try again on a later day, but I still spent 10 credits on a lab that should only have cost me 5.
