Project_id on gcp console was different from the qwiklab materials page. setting the project_id statically to the same id as on the qwiklab page resulted in errors when completing the last few deployment steps in the lab

Wasted a lot of time building a python app unrelated to anything Google, should have just pulled the python source from a public bucket

the gunicorn didn't actully start. seemed like some error in the python version couldn't track down the issue but I was able to verify that the packages were installed.
