I personally felt this lab spends way too much time trying to explain why you are converting and not how/what to convert the psuedo JSON in the api documentation. Just putting the psuedo JSON in any RFC compliant IDE will show you the syntax errors in order to clean up the code. Creating a separate sed script was also confusing and it didn't have any validation built in, so I didn't know what was being cleaned up by the script (at first), ran it, didn't think it ran, re-ran it and now all object types had two sets of double quotes. After re-copying and fixing, I tried on a new copy of the from the REST documentation and the sed script is missing enum and I think one other type. It is also missing areas where "..." elipses are used. This isn't to do with training, but: Its also weird that the REST documentation doesn't easily distinguish which properties are required without reading them all. Or show a few working examples using the JSON psuedo code, swagger/redoc and other self documenting APIs do this and it can be very helpful to api users.
