This lab was well written and easy to consume for someone with the right background. Suggestions on ways to improve the lab (or create a new lab for an introductory course) would be: 1) Cover how one can use the help option from the command line (eg: --help, gcloud help). As a new user to the gcloud CLI, it was not immediately clear how I could find the commands on my own until I fiddled around and treated gcloud as any other Linux command with options. 2) Mention cloud shell supports tab completion of gcloud commands 3) The compute engine web console allows one to get REST and/or CLI equivalent commands quickly. It would be extremely useful to have a 3rd option where a Deployment Manager template could be generated in YAML without having to refer to documentation, transforming it to JSON format, then converting to YAML.

The student user does not have GCP permissions to create the deployment, so half way through the lab there is no hands-on (fortunately the lab is not graded on successful steps). Also, the YAML output is wrong in the examples (which says Do Not Copy, but it still makes a poor reference!)
