Luckily I can ask Gemini to debug, but the lab often needs multiple auth logins and set projects before it works. Consistently every lab so far. Maybe it is a feature to teach us the commands, but they are not documented in the lab set up I would not have known them without Gemini. Missing Application Default Credentials (ADC): When attempting to run the multi-agent Python script (adk run), it crashed with a RefreshError (metadata server missing 'email' field). The lab environment did not have ADC configured by default, which required manually running gcloud auth application-default login and explicitly setting the quota project to allow the Python libraries to communicate with the Google APIs. Code Error (Missing Import): The provided lab file workflow_agents/agent.py contained a bug. It threw a NameError because it attempted to use the sys module on line 15 without actually importing it (import sys) at the top of the file.
