I recently completed the "Setting up a Private Kubernetes Cluster" lab on Cloud Skill Boost, and it was an excellent learning experience. The lab guided me through the process of creating a private Kubernetes cluster, emphasizing the importance of securing cluster communication by using private IPs and VPC peering. I gained hands-on experience in setting up a private cluster, configuring IP addresses, and managing access through master authorized networks. The practical exercises, including working with CIDR ranges and custom subnetworks, enhanced my understanding of Kubernetes Engine's security and networking capabilities. Overall, this lab has significantly deepened my knowledge of Kubernetes cluster management and network isolation.
